Why I Bought It
Closes out the first "arc." While I know that this is something that was going to be an ongoing, this was an issue that BKV said would be the end of the series, or find a way to continue. So let's see if we can spot where things would go and not go. And because its Saga, and its been awesome.

What I Liked
A tree that doubles as a spaceship? Oh hell yea!

I do see certain points when this could have gone to an ending, but I'm glad it didn't. This really was an issue that continued the previous issues in enlarging the world that everyone is in.

I don't know what to feel for the bounty hunter. I feel sorry in a way, but I have the feeling that this will not play out as expected. I honestly think that he will be the death of a character, and I'm wondering how/when/if it will go down.

I'm enjoying where the magical elements of the story come into play.  At times they seem to pop up rather conveniently, but they also show that there is a balancing act any time anyone uses any magic. For the adherence to that aspect of magic rules, I must say I am a fan.

And that is a hell of a way to end the comic and introduce some obviously bad-ass relatives.

What I Didn't Like
This felt like a quick read. And honestly I thought it was more set up in this issue than a way to end it. The world being built in this story couldn't have been told in six issues without feeling rushed.

The art was top notch again this issue, but I saw one inconsistency that put a small knock in the final sequence. Izabel's coloring was off. Sometimes she was blue, other times her normal color. Since none of the other characters really changed colors, I assume it was a mistake. One minor thing that I didn't like.

Panel to Remember
I'm going with the last one. The line of dialogue at the top of the page really sells it for me. Although, I am a sucker for the one panel where Marko is holding the baby up and pointing to the sky, and the baby is pointing up as well. nicely done.

Quotable
"Not a fucking chance." - What I would call the proper response when asked if you are going to give up your raygun and have no defense against an outsider.

Buy Next Issue: There will be some time delay, but I will gladly wait. This is one book that will be worth it.
