The Stories
Like the preview notes, we follow five stories in all featuring Ralph Wiggum. What's fun about this comic in regards to the stories, is that they are all fun to read. I enjoyed all of them, and each one deserves a small short on the Simpsons TV show itself.

The opening story shows us Ralph as he is: trying to do good, but with a dash of naivety and a sprinkling of forgetfulness. We get a couple of one page stories as well. Then we get a couple more longer stories about Ralph thinking he is in the future, and the book finishes off with Ralph "outsmarting" a leprechaun as only Ralph could do.

What is best about each story is that they are all a complete story with a beginning, middle, and end. Each one is set up like a good joke that delivers in the last line, and I think that is what makes the story structure key. You have to keep guessing until the end, and that type of premise fits in perfectly with Ralph and how he interacts with the world around him.

The Art
Simpson enough to know who the characters are, but with a bit of imperfections here and there to show that it isn't as sleek and crisp as the TV show. Each story drawn by a different artist shows a bit of their own style while keeping it Simpsons.

The Cover
I got the one with the saying "It's my first tissue!" Cheerful and random as Ralph could be. Caught my eye and I'm glad the book delivered.

Grades
Words: 10/10 - I laughed while reading. That is fun and doesn't happen much with superhero comics.
Pictures: 10/10 - I get that they had to be Simpsons like, and I liked the sometimes imperfections.
Recommend: Highly. And it's only $2.99! pick it up instead of a superhero comic that will probably still be sitting on the shelf.
Buy Next Issue: This is a series of one shots and the next one focuses on Milhouse. I'm game for it.
