Teen Titans Annual #1
Story by Tom DeFalco & Scott Lobdell
Pencils by Brett Booth
Inks by Norm Rapmund, Sal Regla, Marlo Alquiza and John Livesay
Words: 2/10
Pictures: 3/10
Recommend: Negative. The only thing that The Culling will be doing will be shedding readers.
Buy Next Issue: I'm really tempted to say no, but I want to see how this will supposedly end. More than likely it will be a non-ending. But then again, it might be my ending to the book.

Words: 5/10

Recommend: For a "Prelude" to the whole The Culling mess that has only been hinted about in this book, it needed to not jump realities in order to help us understand the premise and give us a reason to care about the upcoming event. It barely did that on both ends. Definitely not a comic for first timers to the series.
Buy Next Issue: Next issue is the Annual. Let's see how that one pans out.
Teen Titans #7
Story by Scott Lobdell
Pencils by Brett Booth
inks by Norm Rapmund
Words: 3/10 - big hunk of cheese.
Pictures: 7/10 - consistent from issue to issue. I haven't seen too much of a drop in quality, which is nice to have.
Recommend: Confusing, jarring, and not meant for much of anything. I will give it this, though. If you are a new reader, Lobdell does make sure to try and demonstrate the powers and the bits of character for the few characters that he will focus on in an issue. While nice, it does leave a lot of characters with not much being told about them.
Buy Next Issue: I will, but I am beginning to see the trend that Lobdell does with his writing on his books, and it is starting to get stale seeing too much of it at once.
Teen Titans #6
Story by Scott Lobdell
Pencils by Brett Booth
Inks by Norm Rasmund
Words: 6/10
Pictures: 7/10
Recommend: From what I can see here, this is a mostly skippable issue. You'll get to see the costume next issue, and that was the whole point of this issue.
Buy Next Issue: I wanted a big bad last issue, but I would like them to stay around for longer than one issue. I'd even ask for Superboy back again this issue. I will be around, but my interest is fading quick.

Words: 7/10
Pictures: 8/10 - keep on drawing teenagers like teens and this rating will stick around.
Recommend: For first timers, yes. This issue lets you know each character's personality and how they fight on their own. Its a good demonstration of their strengths and their weaknesses.
Buy Next Issue: If we could take the whole Superboy thing out of Teen Titans, I would be around for each issue. Give them another big bad to tackle and then we could be set.

Teen Titans #4

Words: 7/10 - Just felt like filler with a couple of good moments.
Pictures: 8/10
Recommend: Skippable. Let's see how the next issue takes it.
Buy Next Issue: Yep.

Words: 9/10

Recommend: Yes. We are still learning about the characters, and this book is great if you have been reading from issue one, but it still serves it characters quite well in this single issue as well.

Recommend: For newbies, the one Superboy page may confuse you, but the rest is gravy.
